What's this japanese movie called?

At the beginning of the movie I remember there is this girl in a car with a few other people, it looks like they are in a neighberhood traveling somewhere. Soon they get out of the car, and there is this big open field. The girl's family dissapears from the screen, and I can't remember a whole lot, but a little bit later she was in this chinese/japanese looking town, and there were a lot of dark shadowy figures. Does anyone know what this movie is called? I know it's japanese, like anime or something.
