How come women never ask guys out?

It's always expected for the guy to ask the woman out, and that's not fair! Because it discriminates against us shy guys! Because we are too timid to ask women out, and because women never ask men out, we never get dates! For instance, I myself am a very handsome guy, and I can tell some women like me, cause they give me the eye, and smile a lot. But they NEVER approach me! And because I'm too shy to approach them, nothing ever comes of it! :(
