Is this a good story idea???(Mystery/Thriller)?

Ok you definitely have my attention....I would enjoy reading this. Also it would be a great story to involve someone with in the police force to aid him or maybe a therapist to help him sort out whether he is crazy or not. I think it could make for a very interesting dialogue between the characters.
