Why does my girlfriend feel bad that he ex is arrested?

you really both need to take a look at the big picture here - first of all - you both need to get away from this loser - all he is trying to do is make both you and her miserable - which now is at a point of a possible break down for her - your girlfrend - 2 your girlfreind needs to find a new job away from this madness - be a man step up the plate and tell her this - if she is unwise enough to work for this losers mother - then you have way more problems coming - that are way out of your control - what would your girlfreind be even doing - doing this ? i would move - there is no way in hell that this will ever work - and unfortuatly you are in a bad spot on this one
