Saint death question?

Ok my brother came back from texas a few months ago and he brought a saint death figure and candle and since then creepy things have happened like he wakes up with scratches on his back and sometimes he hears scratching noises on the door to his room and last night he said he saw a shadowy figure walk back and forth around his bed anyways im trying to get rid of it but anyway isnt gonna work because if we throw it away something bad will happen and if we sell it or give it away the spirit will probably still be here and we cant use holy water cus its a saint so please help everyone is realy freaked out
