Recurring dream of a shadow creature...?

Ive been having this recurring dream since i was born basically, its always in the same location even before id ever been to that place.Anyways what happens is... Im in the car park of my primary school (dark, dreary and generally creepy), i'm with my mum she was picking me up from a taekwondo class that i went to, she was unlocking the car and i heard rustling in the bushes beside us, my mum heard it too, i walked slowly forward even though she told me not too. I heard a low erie whining noise but continued forward.. I stopped, a pair of evil horrible eyes appeared, my mum yelled but just as she did a shadowy figure charged at me from the bushes giving out an unearthly scream, before i could run it lunged at me sinking its dark claws into my body... after this i woke suddenly to find myself covered in sweat. I dont find the shadowy figure scary when i think about it but it was the noise it made that really creeped me out what does this dream mean and why am i having it..
