How do you get rid of spirits?

My boyfriend has been seeing black shadowy figures in form of a man in a black rain coat. He has also seen an old women. He told me he walked into his cousins room (dark) and as he was walking in he saw her feet and red eyes. Then he hyperventilated. He doesn't really like to talk about it or ask for help. That night when he stood at his cousins house the cousin woke up because my bf was shaking the bed in his sleep and the cousin recorded him. He (cousin) told my bf that he was talking to someone in his sleep but in another language. I'm not sure what to make of this but he can't sleep sometimes so I'm concerned. He has also woken up with scratches. Just yesterday he walked into the restroom and he saw a black shadow and his nose started to bleed. Does anyone know what this could be?
