Are there demons in my dreams?

So this morning.. actually not too long ago I had a horrible ******* nightmare. Everything was clear to me and it felt very real. I was lying in bed by myself till I moved to lay down on my side. I felt some kind of figure lay down behind me but out the corner of my eye it was shadowy and eerie. Then I turned around to face it and I saw what seemed to be like the girl from the excorsim but smaller with a disfigured face. It commanded me to turn around and I was overcame with fear and started to feel weak and like the life was sucked out of me the more I was next to it. Then it became a shadowy presence again and slipped a knife in my hand. It kept whispering in my ear to kill my parents , to murder them.. so I got up and slowly started walking to their door as I got to their door I woke up and I heard something it said "demon" . I woke up so frightened and petrified. But then I recollected myself and fell back asleep but this time ... it brought me back with the shadow figure that emitted evil and it screamed "why did you leave me" then I woke back up. Haha... my fingers were shaking as I typed that.. so is there a demon in my dreams? And if so , what does he want from me??
