Am I being followed by a shadow demon?

So I have been seeing this shadowy red eyed figure when I wake up and before I go to bed. I always played it off but I went over to my friends house and they all practice some type of witchcraft and they told me I had a shadow demon following me. So what is this and what can I do about it. I have thought about this before. Im kinda freaked out.
